Roadrunner Trainee Licence Route (PDI)

You can apply for our trainee licence, which gives you the opportunity to give driving lessons to pupils and earn money while you yourself are training to become a fully qualified driving instructor. For this, you will need to:

• Have passed Part 2 of the Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
• Have undertaken at least 40 hours of training with a qualified Roadrunner ADI

Through Roadrunner’s PDI route you will become a franchisee partner of Roadrunner. Where we will supply you with pupils for you to teach and earn an income while you yourself are still receiving training and development from your Roadrunner expert trainer.

This route provides tremendous benefits, as you will gain greater knowledge, understanding and experience of working with different types of learner drivers, increase your exposure to a wider range of lesson subjects, cultures and benefit from gaining real-life experience of being a driving instructor.
